WHAT I DO:
I am very excited that you have found me and are seeking support for your child! I tutor students in mathematics, writing, and reading. With my experience, I can easily support your child and provide a safe and supportive learning environment as we work together to meet your child’s needs. I use a variety of techniques to help my learners. I can support your child with their homework needs or we can move forward with skills that they need additional support in. I believe all children can learn and make progress with the right support.
WHO DO I WORK WITH?
I work with students in grades 2-6 and support them in math, reading, and writing. I will work with your child for a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 60 minutes sessions. I find the most effective growth comes with 2 meetings per week, but I can work with you once a week or twice a month. I offer small group instruction as well.
I am more than happy to reach out to your child’s teacher to help support your child’s learning in the classroom.

I will not share any of your personal information with anyone. Any information I collect will only be used to work with you in a professional manner.
How does this work?
I will email the primary parent/guardian the online link for the lessons. It is always nice to have the parent/guardian close by during the first meeting, but after that, we typically can manage on our own and are much more productive when the parent/guardian is not sitting right by the student.
The student will log into the online link and lessons will take place for the scheduled date and the time scheduled.
I tutor online only using Google Meet, Google Docs, Google Slides, and Youtube links as needed.I provide secure private links on Google Meet. This will be discussed during the assessment meeting to determine what works best for the family.
If agreed upon, other tools will be utilized, however, any paid services will be reflected on the invoices, thus increasing service costs. This will be agreed upon prior to use.
TOOLS FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE:
Tools for a productive learning experience: a computer works best (with the ability to write on a whiteboard screen is helpful), Google Meet capabilities, gmail account if choosing to participate in a Google related course, earphones or earbuds with audio capabilities, pencil and paper, and any homework. (The best results are made when the tutor has an emailed photo of the work in advance of the session, so we spend less time trying to determine what the assignment is and more time working on figuring it out.)
RESCHEDULING?
I require 24 hours notice to reschedule a session. I understand illness and unexpected events occur. However, I work with multiple students and need the 24 hour notice to ensure all student needs are met. Primary caregivers will be charged the full amount if 24 hours notice is not given. In the event a reschedule is needed, I will send a link to the primary caregiver and they will need to select a date and time from my availability. If I am unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, I will contact the primary caregiver as soon as I can to inform them. I will still charge for the session, but I will provide the caregiver with options for rescheduling.
