As a state licensed educator with 32 years of experience teaching in public schools, I work with students in grades 2-5 and support them in math, reading, and writing.
My Specialties
After earning my M.ED. in Curriculum in Instruction, I’ve developed a variety of instructional practices catered to childrens’ learning needs in mathematics, writing, and reading.
About Me
Hi, my name is Sheryl Uehling. I am a state licensed and veteran educator with 32 years of experience teaching in a public school in Nebraska, United States of America. I have also been tutoring online since 2020. I have supported high ability learners, regular education learners, as well as special education learners. I have worked with learners who have been on the Autism spectrum and I have worked with students who have had issues with behavior disorders. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I also have a M.ED. in Curriculum in Instruction from Doane University, Crete, Nebraska. I meet with your child to do a comprehensive assessment of needs in the area(s) you request. I provide a detailed report with a long range lesson plan detailing my plan of action for supporting your child’s needs.
Grades 2-5 Tutoring in Math, Reading
6th grade and up provided with support in reading and writing.
This includes direct instruction with your child and personalized practice activities on a Google Classroom for continued learning outside of our time together.
